DAVID A. KENYON
Dave has been involved in Total Quality Management (TQM) consulting
at the executive level with a variety of Fortune 500 companies.
During his 25 year career at Hewlett Packard, he held engineering
and management positions in research and development, manufacturing,
and corporate quality. His technology background includes system
I/O, networking, personal computers and communications . He has
also been involved in management/leadership training and consulting
for over 16 years.
In his current alliance with Athena Consulting, his primary focus
areas are strategic planning, business process re-engineering, leadership
training and quality, as well as technology deployment and manufacturing
engineering. He has provided consulting services in many industries
including high technology, automobile manufacturing, defense, air
transportation, banking, retail, higher education, and local government.
His activities have included major re-engineering efforts, strategic
planning, and TQM consulting with senior-level management in those
industries. A member of the ASQC and IEEE, he has authored articles
and papers on numerous subjects including product introduction management,
software quality, QFD, strategic planning, and re-engineering, as
well as telescope design and control.
Dave has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from the DeVry Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree
in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He also holds
a college teaching credential in Astronomy and Engineering. In addition
to his consulting work, he is currently teaching both at the college
level.
